Hear / Hear is an invitation to open your ears and an exercise in active listening.

In today’s world, visual information bombards us constantly, often causing our sense of hearing to take a backseat. However, there was a time when hearing was given more importance.

The project seeks to reconnect participants with the world of sound by offering an immersive experience that can take place anywhere, whether in nature, a busy train station, or the heart of a city. This exercise helps developing a language to talk about sound, understand layering, and “see” the soundscape of our surroundings as a composition.

While it’s open to everyone, Hear / Here pays special attention to supporting vulnerable groups, such as those grappling with addiction or sensory overload such as individuals affected by autism spectrum disorder. The ultimate aim is to discover calmness through listening and enhance our ability to truly listen to the world around us.
